DEFINITY is produced by CCG Digital Image Technology, in Berlin, Germany, which equips DEFINITY with a formidable pedigree: CCG can look back on more than 20 years experience in film recording technology and CGI, culminating in CCG's acquisition of Agfa Gevaert's film recorder division in 1997 and the transfer of production of the PCR and Alto product lines from the United States to Germany. Here our engineers managed to push a proven technology to a new level of quality and reliability. Today CCG's film recorders can be found in hundreds of laboratories, studios, post-production facilities and archives worldwide.
Based on this experience and the expertise of a team of motion picture professionals, CCG began the development of its new flagship product aimed specifically at cinematography: In 2004 CCG introduced DEFINITY, the world's first digital film recorder based on LCD technology, setting new standards for performance, affordability and ease of use.
At CCG we proud ourselves of state-of-the-art engineering, an adherence to the highest industry standards and an unflinching attention to the needs of our customers.
CCG's head office and production site are located in the heart of Berlin Charlottenburg – our team will be happy to welcome you in our facilities for an on-site introduction to DEFINITY. We look forward hearing from you!
